Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera Oil, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, Potassium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Citronellol.

Cleansing and Conditioning Agents:

  1. Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil):
    • A natural cleansing agent that effectively removes makeup, oils, and dirt from brushes and sponges.
    • Helps condition and soften bristles and sponges, preventing them from becoming dry or brittle.
    • Has mild antimicrobial properties, adding a natural antibacterial benefit.
  2. Aqua (Water):
    • Acts as a solvent, helping dissolve ingredients and create a lather.
    • Essential for emulsifying oils and aiding in the rinsing process.

Cleansing and Saponification Agents:

  1. Sodium Hydroxide:
    • A strong alkali used in soap making (saponification), which converts oils (like coconut oil) into soap.
    • Ensures the soap effectively lathers and cleanses.
    • After the saponification process, it is neutralized and no longer harsh.
  2. Potassium Hydroxide:
    • Similar to sodium hydroxide, but used to create softer, more pliable soap (often liquid or cream-based).
    • Helps break down oils and residues on brushes and sponges.

pH Adjusters and Preservatives:

  1. Citric Acid:
    • Balances the pH of the soap, making it gentle enough for brushes and sponges.
    • Acts as a mild preservative by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and mold.
    • Helps in reducing mineral buildup from hard water during rinsing.

Fragrance Components:

  1. Parfum (Fragrance):
    • Adds a pleasant scent to the soap, making the cleaning process more enjoyable.
    • May vary in composition, but generally enhances the sensory experience.
  2. Citronellol:
    • A naturally occurring fragrance compound derived from essential oils (like citronella or rose).
    • Provides a fresh, floral scent and may also have mild antibacterial properties.
